Hello! My name is Grace and I am a sophomore at FSU. I am in the Education major and I am minoring in tourism, recreation, and events. I am from Panama City (yes, the beach is beautiful!). I have 3 other siblings, one of which goes to UF. I love the beach, hanging out with friends, and taking photos.
My prior experience with technology is not very impressive. I have my phone on me at most times of the day and I have used the computer for browsing purposes and also for education use. With education use, I have used the computer for word documents, excel, and power point. Also, I have grown comfortable with smart boards and have used virtual reality headsets once or twice.
In this class, I hope to expand and gain knowledge about technology. Since technology is used by a wide variety of people, it it good to understand how to use it. In the classroom, technology is used so when I become a teacher it will be beneficial to be up to date with it. Being on top of the new technology will be important for the future and hopefully this class will help me to do that.

I haven't been to Panama City but Destin. The beach was so beautiful! I hope you can get some ideas how you can integrate some technologies in your lesson plans as a teaching strategy. :-)
